Being this week is Fire Prevention Week, there is no better time than this week to announce that the Minoa Fire Department is proud to be teaming up with The American Red Cross to help with the program called Sound the Alarm. This will be for all of our residence within the Minoa Fire District. Our volunteers will be heading out to homes and installing new smoke detectors for anyone who may not have smoke detectors or has out dated smoke detectors. We would be happy to help you and your family members out. This program will be a permanent program in effort to continue fire preventing in our community. Residents will be allowed up to 3 smoke detectors per house hold. If you would like us to come to your residence or a family members residence. Please contact us on Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messenger, or calling our Station 1 at (315)656-9204. Please leave your name/ number and the best time to reach you. If you are a resident in the village please share with as many people as possible.
