On Monday members from Minoa started there yearly training on RIT. These skills are very important to have as a firefighter incase they ever run into a situation of having to rescue a down firefighter in a fire. Ice Water Training

On Monday Minoa Fire Department members took full advantage of a drill night to practice there skills in ice water rescue. The drill was taught by two of our members who are certified instructors Lt. Minoa Fire Department would like to welcome our two newest members to the department. Katrina Agans who will be looking to get into the EMS side of the fire service and Cameron Jarvis who will be looking to become an interior firefighter. No Caption Farewell to our 1996 E-One Engine 13

Captain Station 1 Anthony Alessandrello, January 31

Tonight we pulled our 1996 E-One Engine 13 out of Station one for the final time. This engine will be used temporarily as Engine 37. We finally put in service our brand new 2020 E-One Engine 13. Mutual Aid to East Syracuse 2nd Alarm

Captain Station 1 Anthony Alessandrello, January 22

On 1/21 at 0109 hrs we were dispatched mutual aid to East Syracuse on a 2nd alarm structure fire on Collamer Road. C3 (Chief Capriotti), L22 (Chief McGarrity) responded. C3 and L22 arrived and assisted with fireground operations. Minoa units returned to service about 2 hrs later. Signal 99 North Chittenango Fire District

Lieutenant Station 1 Anthony Alessandrello, January 10

On 1/6 at 2153 hrs we were dispatched mutual aid to North Chittenango for a reported structure fire on Fyler Rd / Adam’s Rd. C3 (Chief Capriotti), E24 (Capt DiBello) responded.
