On Thursday 5/13 at 1701 hrs we along with our mutual aid departments were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Ferndale Lane. C2 (Chief Spratt), C3 (Chief Capriotti), E11 (Lt Schermerhorn), E13 (Lt T Van Auken), L22 (FF DiMauro), E24 (Chief McGarrity), Sq1 ( FF H Matthes) responded. The Minoa Fire Department has decided not to hold the Annual Fireman Field Days at Lewis Park on June 3, 4 and 5, 2021.

The Fire Department had every intention of holding the field days this year. However, the virus is still prevalent in our community. Mutual Aid to Kirkville for a Signal 98 Barn Fire

On 3/15 at 1159 hrs we were dispatched mutual aid to Kirkville on a possible garage fire. C3 (Chief Capriotti) and E11 (Lt Schermerhorn) responded. Upon arrival C3 was given operations and E11 crew assisted with extinguishment. Units operated for just over 2 hrs. While Minoa units were clearing from a fire alarm on Taft Rd. Fire Control had an Engine from Minoa start to cover the Town of Cicero. Minoa Engine 11 (Lt. VanAuken) and Squad 1 (FF H.
