9/11, Still a Solemn Date

Today, we remember the horrific morning 24 years ago on September 11th, 2001 like it was yesterday. It was a day we will never forget. We will always remember the heroes of that day: 343 firefighters, 8 EMS providers, 72 law enforcement officers, and the hero civilians who lost their lives because of a horrible act on the United States.

The Minoa Fire Department participated in commemorations for 9/11 to honor the dead and to show esteem for the prinicples of this great country. We appreciate the reverence at these ceremonies: Town of DeWitt, Village of Chittenango, and the Simon-Parise VFW Post 9596 on Taft Road.
