The Minoa Fire Department, Inc. is a New York State not-for-profit entity and was incorporated on October 18, 1944. 

Its purposes include recruiting and training firefighters, providing fire, rescue, and emergency medical services, and maintaining the facilities, apparatus, and equipment necessary for those operations. The Corporation also seeks to promote member wellness through social activities, uphold the traditions and honor of the fire service, and assist firefighters and their families in times of need. In addition, it is committed to community education in fire prevention, supporting residents during emergencies, and engaging with organizations and issues important to the fire service.
