2025 Festival of Lights

The Village of Baldwinsville hosted its 11th annual Parade of Lights on November 29, bringing thousands of residents into the village to welcome the start of the holiday season. The Minoa Fire Department was proud to join volunteer fire companies, EMS agencies, police, businesses, and community groups from across Central New York in this festive tradition.

More than 165 vehicles — fire apparatus, ambulances, decorated floats, and even illuminated heavy equipment — made their way through the village streets, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd. The parade concluded with a tree-lighting ceremony in the village square, followed by family activities at the Baldwinsville Public Library, including music, crafts, and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Events like this highlight the spirit of cooperation that strengthens our communities. Minoa extends its thanks to the Baldwinsville Rotary Club and all who supported the first responders participating in the parade.
