Minoa's Festival in the Park

September 12, 2026 had the crisp, early feel of autumn as neighbors gathered for Minoa’s 13th annual Festival in the Park—a community tradition celebrating the final days of summer.

The park was filled with food, drinks, music, and local vendors offering everything from jewelry and handmade sewing items to fresh sourdough bread, cookies, spices, jams, and pickled eggs. With the midterm elections approaching, representatives from both Republican and Democratic parties were also on hand to connect with residents.

Children enjoyed the magic of a balloon artist, whose colorful creations brought plenty of smiles throughout the afternoon. Live music carried into the evening, with Tom Chick performing in the late afternoon, followed by Todd Hobin and Letizia Band after dusk.

As night fell, the celebration culminated in a beautiful fireworks display, followed by the Festival’s traditional bonfire. The Minoa Fire Department supervised the bonfire, helping ensure a safe and memorable close to the evening.

For thirteen years, the Festival in the Park has offered Minoa residents a chance to enjoy one another’s company, support local neighbors, and celebrate the good life in Minoa.
