On Monday, August 24, 2026, Bob Bellandi was honored with the Mayor’s Award and the Fire Commissioner’s Award in recognition of his dedication and service to the Village of Minoa and the Minoa Fire Department. Both awards are presented annually.

While emergency response is the Department’s central mission, its work also relies on the contributions of support members behind the scenes. Support members assist with administrative work, fundraising, and community events, including the Department’s annual Field Days.

A resident of the Town of Manlius and a member of the Department since 2023, Bob supports the Department by maintaining its website, helping manage policies and procedures, and documenting training, events and life around the station through photography.
