Welcome Back Picnic — Minoa Elementary

The Minoa Elementary School PTO hosted its annual Welcome Back Picnic on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., children and parents filled the lawn in front of the school to catch up with friends, enjoy hot dogs, and look ahead to the new school year. A snow cone truck, offering plenty of flavors, was an especially sweet welcome for the kids.

As it does each year, the Minoa Fire Department joined the celebration. Firefighters helped children climb aboard the fire truck, demonstrated their tools and equipment, and handed out plastic helmets and coloring books with safety tips.

It was a wonderful way to renew community connections and build excitement for what everyone hopes will be a safe, successful school year.
