A solemn ceremony was held in the Town of DeWitt on September 11, 2024 at the 9/11 Memorial on Butternut Drive. Capt. Brenton White of the DeWitt Police Department was the Master of Ceremonies.
As the ceremony’s brochure stated, “Despite our shared grief in the aftermath of 9/11, home, resilience and unity filled us up as a nation. Twenty-three years later, these lessons are more important than ever.”
The Minoa Fire Department proudly stood with other first responders to honor the memory of the many individuals lost that day.
