Help Keep Hydrants Clear This Winter

A yellow fire hydrant stands on a patch of grass, surrounded by melting snow and a clear asphalt road nearby.

After our most recent snowfall — well over a foot in many neighborhoods — the Minoa Fire Department is asking residents for a simple but important favor: please help keep the fire hydrants near your home clear of snow.

A clean, three-foot space around each hydrant, with a path visible from the street, can save precious seconds in an emergency. When every moment counts, that access can make all the difference.

Our crews are out in every kind of weather, and your assistance helps us protect you, your neighbors, and the entire community. Thank you for pitching in and helping keep Minoa safe this winter.
